The Spoils of War

Yazidi Woman

I want you to look at this beautiful young woman about to suffer a horrendous fate. She is a Yazidi women who was captured by ISIS and is now a “Jariya” which translates as “concubine” but in all actuality as a spoil of war she is about to become a sex slave.

This picture is at her auction.

Men will bid on her, as one may bid on any other trinket or “thing”, her only value being what she will bring to her master in terms of sexual release.

This is now her only purpose in life, to be brutally raped at any incidence of her masters erect penis. This is the only existence she will ever know.

The Yazidi people are ethnically Kurdish people who live primary in northern Iraq and eastern Syria.Yazidism is linked to ancient Mesopotamian religions and combines aspects of ZoroastrianismIslamChristianity and Judaism.

They lived in relative peace until the start of the Syrian civil war. The Assad regime allied with Russia and Iran on a pipeline deal that cut out US “ally” Saudi Arabia. All of the Sudden Uncle Sam decided that the Syrian people needed “Freedom”, so with the help of his crazy nephews in the CIA, Grandma Hillary, brother Barry and Grand Uncle John and his common law Wife Auntie Lindsey we went arming the rebel opposition who had murky ties to al qaeda and the al nusra front and some would say morphed into the horror that is ISIS.

ISIS in an effort to supplement their otherwise western clandestine cash flow decided that human trafficking is an excellent source of revenue.

So here this beautiful woman kneels, barefoot and supplicant, her highest purpose in life, however long her drastically shortened life is to last, is to serve as a receptacle for some vile man’s basest urges.

It didn’t have to be like this. Bashar Al’Assad may credibly be accused of running a dictatorship but his dictatorship was secular and protected the rights of religious minorities.

All of the horrors of this brutal war, the thousands of dead, the monumental refugee crisis, the washed up boy on a a Turkish shoreline, and the thousands of women kneeling before their purchasers grimly wondering which bed post they will stay chained to, can be blamed on our above US families habitual policy of intervention in the Middle East.

And now, if he wants to press this further, president Trump, as he accustoms himself to the awfulness of the trappings of the power the office he campaigned so hard for offers.  It didn’t take him long to reverse previous statements and campaign promises. Criticism rains in from his base and supporters as his “liberal” opposition have long lost the moral high ground with which to criticize him without facing charges of hypocrisy.

Which is probably why they are cheering him at the moment.

We have to remember that these distant wars that we see on TV have real life consequences for those in the region. Regardless of who “wins” this war (besides the military industrial complex) the lives altered will never return.

The displaced will never return to “home”.

The dead will never rise.

And the “Jawari” will reside to their grim fate, serving the vilest lusts of those who look at them as mere objects, never again feeling the Rich emotion of their families love…
