Collecting Scalps…

I wasn’t offended in the least bit by Kathy Griffins little stunt.  Nor do I want to see her career ruined (although I am considerably amazed that she has actually had a career as a comedian).

Ms. Griffin after offering a sorry/not sorry apology, showed up at a press conference and blamed Trump, Sexism etc. for the smoldering train wreck of her career.  The solipsistic self-immolation was painful to watch from someone who would no doubt describe herself as a “Nasty Girl”.

It would be cliché to say to Ms. Griffin “If you want to blame someone look in the mirror.”  Not incorrect just cliché.

No if Ms. Griffin wants to know who is REALLY to blame she has to look around the room at the next cocktail party she goes to, if she is still invited.

When she is toasting champagne with her dulled by decades of media dominance unfunny ideological comrades, as they wax un-philosophically and bitch about Drumpf, if she has the liquid courage at the garbage time portion of the soiree, when tipsiness causes lucid honesty, she might ask in a whispered voice to her colleagues “Why did we create such a world?”

A world of political correctness run amok so that entire lives can be ruined over moments of mistakes, real and imagined.

A world where a Bloviating if not Popular TV commentator like Bill O’Reilly can lose his job over unproven allegations. Although we must give the devil his due, “FUCK IT WE’LL DO IT LIVE” is funnier than anything Ms. Griffin shit out of her mouth in her vapid career.

A world where Sean Hannity, a second rate Rush Limbaugh wannabee (There’s a double entendre insult in there, By The way), can almost lose his job for asking questions about the unsolved murder of DNC staffer Seth Rich.

A world where Former Founder and CEO of Mozilla, Brendan Eich, can lose his job and almost have his career ruined for giving $1000 to a political campaign to keep marriage legal only between a man and a woman.  It should be remembered that the campaign Eich donated to, California’s Prop 8 in 2008, actually WON its statewide election showing Eich was in the majority with his political opinion.

If you can lose your job based on unproven accusations, an honest attempt at investigative journalism, or a small donation to a more popular if politically incorrect political position from a half decade earlier what the Fuck makes you think you can hold up the severed head of the President of the United States and not experience a Backlash?

If we are honest Ms. Griffin can be forgiven for being blindsided.  There has been a double standard as the doughy old guard Bush-Falwell cuckservative right has played by Marquess of Queensberry rules, virtuous in defeat that they haven’t “descended” to the depths of their ideological opponents.

Jeb Bush said during the republican primaries “You can’t insult your way to the Presidency, Donald.”

Well, that’s where you’re wrong, Kiddo.

Look no further than the symbolic head she didn’t collect, the President who insulted his way to the presidency literally bare knuckle brawling past the political and media establishment into the most powerful position on the planet with the help of an unseen horde of 4chan /pol/ warriors that memed him into existence.

Its fitting that of all the tasteless and drone things to be done to ruin a career it was the severed head that did her in. Griffin was the First scalp to get the O’Reilly treatment as the new emerging right uses the tactics of the old descending left.  It won’t be their last scalp…

Refighting the Barbary Wars

Just last week I penned a story about a Yazidi woman (Teenager?) kneeling before her purchasers, one of which who will bid victoriously to have help around the house he can stick his penis into on a moment’s notice.

Daou
Peter is shocked about “The Current Year”…

Then we come across this article about modern slave markets in Libya. Hillary Supporter Peter Daou is shocked that slave markets exist in 2017 which is shocking in itself that he’s shocked.  There are more slaves today than at any other point in history (Maybe even accounting for population).  The feeling that things might, at times, be getting worse is a crash course with the typical Marxist narrative that everything is a relatively smooth and upward trajectory from White Christian Patriarchal primordial soup towards the egalitarian demi-gods they are destined to become.

History started yesterday for these people, as they don’t realize that we go through cycles where civilizations rise and fall, some people even putting together interesting thesis’s rooted in endocrinology and Evolutionary psychology .

Blindness to the past is not their only detriment as they cannot also accurately predict the future of certain policies.  Daou, an advisor of War Criminal Hillary Clinton  is amazed that there is an Arab slave trade of black Africans out of Libya.  Just as the Clintonian arming of rebels in Syria lead to the Rise of ISIS and the sexual slavery of the Yazidi women, a power vacuum was created with the Clintonian War crime in in Libya which has brought us to today.

Now Sexual slavery follows the Clintons little charity (There is a reason the Haitians DESPISE the Clintons) but this is a new benchmark for Secretary Hillary.  Shes literally brought back the Arab African slave trade after we fought a gut wrenching Civil war in our own country to end it and since we have a conspicuous history with slavery in that particular part of the world.

If you are familiar with the Anthem of the United States Marine Corp., The Marines’ Hymn, and you are almost certainly familiar with the opening lines:

“From the halls of Montezuma to the Shores of Tripoli”

The Part that says “The Shores of Tripoli” refers to The Battle of Derna  which was part of the Barbary wars.

Barbary corsairs and crews from the North African Ottoman provinces of AlgiersTunisTripoli, and the independent Sultanate of Morocco under the Alaouite dynasty (the Barbary Coast) were the scourge of high seas of the Mediterranean. Capturing merchant ships and enslaving or ransoming their crews provided the Muslim rulers of these nations with wealth and naval power.

Barbary corsairs led attacks upon American merchant shipping in an attempt to extort ransom for the lives of captured sailors, and ultimately tribute from the United States to avoid further attacks, as they did with the various European states. Before the Treaty of Paris, which formalized the United States’ independence from Great Britain, U.S. shipping was protected by France during the revolutionary years under the Treaty of Alliance (1778–83).

This lapse of protection by a European power led to the first American merchant ship being commandeered after the Treaty of Paris. On 11 October 1784, Moroccan pirates seized the brigantine Betsey. The Spanish government negotiated the freedom of the captured ship and crew; however, Spain offered advice to the United States on how to deal with the Barbary States. The advice was to offer tribute to prevent further attacks against merchant ships. The U.S. Minister to France, Thomas Jefferson, decided to send envoys to Morocco and Algeria to try to purchase treaties and the freedom of the captured sailors held by Algeria.

Back Home Jefferson argued that paying tribute would encourage more attacks. Although John Adams agreed with Jefferson, he believed that circumstances forced the U.S. to pay tribute until an adequate navy could be built.

Pan forward to 1801- 1805 and the now Presidency of Thomas Jefferson. Just before Jefferson’s inauguration in 1801, Congress passed naval legislation that, among other things, provided for six frigates that ‘shall be officered and manned as the President of the United States may direct.’ … In the event of a declaration of war on the United States by the Barbary powers, these ships were to ‘protect our commerce and chastise their insolence—by sinking, burning or destroying their ships and vessels wherever you shall find them.'” On Jefferson’s inauguration as president in 1801, Yusuf Karamanli, the Pasha (or Bashaw) of Tripoli, demanded $225,000 (equivalent to $3.24 million in 2016) from the new administration. (In 1800, federal revenues totaled a little over $10 million). Putting his long-held beliefs into practice, Jefferson refused the demand. Consequently, on 10 May 1801, the Pasha declared war on the U.S., not through any formal written documents but in the customary Barbary manner of cutting down the flagstaff in front of the U.S. Consulate. Algiers and Tunis did not follow their ally in Tripoli.

The Battles of Tripoli and Derna lead to many courageous acts of the fledgling US Navy and Marine Corps in what would amount to a great victory.

We can reserve judgement of a Trump Presidency, guarded optimism mixed with inquisitive questioning especially of military acts.

But think of the disaster averted of a Hillary presidency. Her policies, not  a measure of progress as her progressively deluded supporters imagine, but of rehashing the battles of our nation’s founding like ending slavery off the Barbary Coast…

The Spoils of War

Yazidi Woman

I want you to look at this beautiful young woman about to suffer a horrendous fate. She is a Yazidi women who was captured by ISIS and is now a “Jariya” which translates as “concubine” but in all actuality as a spoil of war she is about to become a sex slave.

This picture is at her auction.

Men will bid on her, as one may bid on any other trinket or “thing”, her only value being what she will bring to her master in terms of sexual release.

This is now her only purpose in life, to be brutally raped at any incidence of her masters erect penis. This is the only existence she will ever know.

The Yazidi people are ethnically Kurdish people who live primary in northern Iraq and eastern Syria.Yazidism is linked to ancient Mesopotamian religions and combines aspects of ZoroastrianismIslamChristianity and Judaism.

They lived in relative peace until the start of the Syrian civil war. The Assad regime allied with Russia and Iran on a pipeline deal that cut out US “ally” Saudi Arabia. All of the Sudden Uncle Sam decided that the Syrian people needed “Freedom”, so with the help of his crazy nephews in the CIA, Grandma Hillary, brother Barry and Grand Uncle John and his common law Wife Auntie Lindsey we went arming the rebel opposition who had murky ties to al qaeda and the al nusra front and some would say morphed into the horror that is ISIS.

ISIS in an effort to supplement their otherwise western clandestine cash flow decided that human trafficking is an excellent source of revenue.

So here this beautiful woman kneels, barefoot and supplicant, her highest purpose in life, however long her drastically shortened life is to last, is to serve as a receptacle for some vile man’s basest urges.

It didn’t have to be like this. Bashar Al’Assad may credibly be accused of running a dictatorship but his dictatorship was secular and protected the rights of religious minorities.

All of the horrors of this brutal war, the thousands of dead, the monumental refugee crisis, the washed up boy on a a Turkish shoreline, and the thousands of women kneeling before their purchasers grimly wondering which bed post they will stay chained to, can be blamed on our above US families habitual policy of intervention in the Middle East.

And now, if he wants to press this further, president Trump, as he accustoms himself to the awfulness of the trappings of the power the office he campaigned so hard for offers.  It didn’t take him long to reverse previous statements and campaign promises. Criticism rains in from his base and supporters as his “liberal” opposition have long lost the moral high ground with which to criticize him without facing charges of hypocrisy.

Which is probably why they are cheering him at the moment.

We have to remember that these distant wars that we see on TV have real life consequences for those in the region. Regardless of who “wins” this war (besides the military industrial complex) the lives altered will never return.

The displaced will never return to “home”.

The dead will never rise.

And the “Jawari” will reside to their grim fate, serving the vilest lusts of those who look at them as mere objects, never again feeling the Rich emotion of their families love…

LOL against the Machine

Less than a week after Piperstradamus mentioned Mike “Fake News” Cernovich was the tip of the smally paradigm shift away from big news Cernovich then goes and scoops the planet by reporting that Obama close confidante and Former National Security Advisor Susan Rice ordered the unmasking of Trump associates unrelated to the Russian investigation and that this surveillance has been going on since before the nomination. In other words there was spying on the Trump campaign by the Obama administration (again before the nomination) and as aspects of the Russian hacked the election narrative disintegrate we are left with the increasing possibility that:

It was NOT concerns of Russian influence in the election that lead to legal surveillance on Trump and his associates.

BUT

General spying on EVERYONE: the true purpose being not the investigation of crimes or the protection against terrorism but the manufacturing of reasonable suspicion and probable cause ex pos facto of anyone perceived as a threat to any of the lawless degenerates running the surveillance spy state.

“Threats” such as an affable billionaire descending the escalator ride of destiny.

In other words facts did not lead to scandal, a scandal was conjured up and “facts” (Bullshit conjecture posing as facts) were filled in from previous illegal spying. The only reason why this horseshit hacking scandal broke AFTER the election is because all these dumb asses in the Obama administration thought they could cheat their way into a Trump defeat where the illegal surveillance story would die a silent death in a Hillary administration.  This Russian hacked the election nonsense is the CYA (Cover Your Ass) attempts of the administration and The IC afterwards to avoid the inevitable pepe marches and klieg lights that are in their future when this story busts open.

This confirms President Sir-tweets-alot accusations that he was spied on by the Obama administration which isn’t surprising since the Obama administration spied on friends (Angela Merkel), friendly reporters (The Associated Press), hostile reporters (James Rosen) and once had the divorce records of his Illinois senate opponent released (Jack Ryan) to tar him as a sexual deviant because Ryan asked his wife to give him a hummer at a strip club.

The Obama administration spied on Trump for the same reason the government spies on everyone else, the Establishment is a machine which seeks to accrue as much power while keeping you as powerless as possible. If at anytime… ANYTIME… you poke your head up a little too far they will come crashing down with full force. Your texts, your emails, your tweets, your websites, your phone calls etc are combed through in an effort to crush you over any transgression in the myriad of contradictory statutes they have for “the little people”.

On the flip side are the dutiful servants of the machine who are rewarded with unspeakable riches for selling their souls at the feet of the machine. Some names such as Bush are the multi-generational architects of the machine and some Johnny come lately to the Machine make money through “charities” (Clinton) or $60 Million dollar book deals on some Ghost written Shit that will be in the 60% off bin by Xmas (Obama).

What makes Cernovich scooping the planet on the Rice story so interesting is the Matt Drudge way of breaking the story, as Machine reporters for The NYT and Bloomberg “sat” on the story, Cernovich’s sources in these newsrooms (again the little guys) dropped the story in Cernovich’s lap to break.

Bullshit inc. fiddle fucked around thinking of a way of laying this down gently, spun in such a way to protect their allies in the O admin until Cernovich broke it and then when reporting on it refused to credit him for the story. Why is this, you ask?

  1. This confirms more parts of the allegations of President Trump that he was illegally spied on and god forbid sir-tweets-a lot turns out to be right
  2. Mainstream news organizations (Bullshit Inc.) are determined to defend their perceived status as narrative constructs. In the era where Mike Cernovich regularly scoops them, and they have lost the “Fake News” narrative (and the Trust of the majority of Americans) the slow death of BIG news continues.

Remember BIG news is not there to inform but to craft a Machine compliant narrative.  Without out ability to Bullshit the majority of the people the hallowed organs of official BIG Think like the WaPo and the NYT and MSNBC produce nothing more than a fart in the wind.

Now in this age of lawlessness its not impossible for Ambassador Rice to side step any actual consequences. Furthermore her former boss is kiteboarding in a non-extradition country so I doubt anyone is going to jail. While justice is sweet that is not what is important.

What IS important as I claimed last week “BIG” is losing control to the little but brave foot soldiers like Cernovich.

The machine likes to peddle stories that people like Obama are “outsiders”, just dark horse candidates who “came out of nowhere” when in all actuality they are groomed for the role from behind the scenes and protected from their lawlessness by the establishment press as long as they continue to play ball.  Obama’s are a dime a dozen to the machine.

The Real outsiders are the Cernovich’s and the Trumps, and they are the ones the machine fears the most.

Despite Cernovich’s ascending rock star status at the end of the day he is just another pain in the ass lawyer that said “enough”.

President Trump, a flawed man with many positive attributes, was a real estate developer and a reality TV star before he decided to take up politics as a hobby and win a most improbable office.

At the end of the day, as great as they may be, Cernovich and Trump are mere men no different than you in many regards, sticking wrenches in the gears of the machine that grinds out your very existence.

The machine will try to destroy them not for vengeance but for self-preservation, as they dont want you getting any crazy ideas about what difference you might make in your own life.

After all if you were to attempt an honest assessment of Cernovich and Trump as they do battle with the machine you might ask yourself a most dangerous question that the machine prefers you do not ask yourself at anytime in your life:

What can I Do?…

The BIG bad media vs. the “little” Guy

17630022_10154483305027061_844976962490293454_nThis Dapper looking Gentleman is Mike Cernovich, a So Cal lawyer and blogger who gets over 80 million twitter impressions each month. He’s became nationally known for being an influential online Trump supporter and running stories that were not too flattering to Madam Hillary but his principal achievement was authoring an incredible book called “The Gorilla Mindset”.

While he lists his talking about mindset as his main passion he has been thrust into the culture wars in the last presidential election cycle which earned him this spot on CBS 60 Minutes, in a segment which was a thinly veiled hit piece against him concerning “Fake News”. Despite going into the lions den and taking some lumps in a heavily edited interview Cernovich scored a victory in getting his viewpoint out. 60 minutes might have scored a Pyrrhic victory as well as they had their best ratings in years by having a man who dwarfs them in coverage on their ratings reduced show.

While I too count Cernovich’s work with mindset as his greatest achievement there is something deeper that Cernovich Media has tapped into that might not be immediately recognized. It’s bigger than the culture wars, bigger than politics, bigger than “The News”, (Real and Fake) and even bigger than the president whose campaign Cernovich supported.

What we are going through is a changing epoch, a paradigm shift, where people realize that BIGGER is not better.

CBS (and MSNBC, CNN, FOX etc.) are BIG News. BIG entities are never concerned with your well being just with their profits. Just like BIG Pharma has given us skyrocketing drug prices in the same way as BIG insurance has given us Rising premiums, and BIG finance has given us greater income inequality and BIG food has given us GMOs and hormones and pesticides and BIG Government has handled your rights, BIG news shovel feeds us a corporate approved narrative designed to monetize (mis)information while manufacturing mind manipulation instead of honestly informing.

BIG news will attack Cernovich like BIG food attacks local farms, BIG finance attacks small business and BIG pharma attacks alternative healthcare.

But the times are a changing as BIG is on the downswing. In a year that saw Brexit (happening as we speak) and a man who picked up politics as a hobby beat the BIG political machines we watch the bloggers in their basements change the way we view and process information.

BIG never likes the little guy poking him in the eye with a stick. They don’t like the concept of losing their monopolies to millions of us little guys.

BIG media screeches “Fake News” but what’s so fake about Cernovich (and many others presently and to follow) who live stream news and opinion at the source begging to be fact checked instead of selectively editing something to fit a pre-existing narrative like Bullshit Inc. does.

Ironic if you think about it, BIG thinking from the little guys is changing the way we the way we experience our existence.

And BIG doesn’t like when we consciously make out own choices…

When Trump tells Truth’s they must be suppressed by the Press

I am going to tell one of those stories I shouldn’t tell, which will lead to some science that will be ignored because it will lead to political conclusions too politically incorrect to make:
I was sitting in a Gogo bar in Pattaya Thailand with a U.K. Buddy
We are sitting at the stage where the women are all naked and doing various feats (best left to the imagination) for free drinks where my buddy points to the gentleman to my immediate right and says “that fucking guy gives me the creeps.”
I look to my right and see a skinny Caucasian man, bespectacled glasses, 60ish years old with short brown wavy hair. Sitting on his lap facing him was a naked young Thai girl bouncing up and down.
Don’t worry in real life I noticed the naked girl first before any of the features of this gentleman. 😁
Despite him being preoccupied I decided to strike up a conversation with this gentleman: Wade 63 years old, originally from Wisconsin retired to Pattaya 8 years ago comes to this bar 3 times a week (he did seem rather familiar with this place). Nice guy, I thought, all things considered.
I return to my Buddy and after a few minutes he repeats his earlier concern: “That fucking guy is still giving me the creeps.”
I turn to my right. There are two Thai girls lying on the stage face face up. Wade is taking turns performing cunnilingus on both of them.
“Wade? Nah man, don’t worry about it. Wades cool.”
A week later in Bangkok my Buddy and I are telling this story to two other friends under the “crazy shit that happens in Thailand” chapters where my Buddy, again, reiterates “That fucking guy was giving me the creeps.”
Laughing I rushed to Wade’s defense “Leave Wade alone he wasn’t harming anyone” before adding an important, unsubstantiated and perhaps unscientific statement:
“But I will say this. Wade did seem like the kind of guy that if he was still stuck in Wisconsin he would be the guy who one night some poor naked and chained woman would escape from his basement and when the police showed up to arrest him there would be like another dozen or so bodies. Good thing wade has Pattaya for his release.” I grimly joked.
Despite the flippancy with which I discussed a potentially ghastly scenario I was making a scientific Statement: Men’s sexual behavior and misbehavior is related to the availability of willing women.
This study suggests that Across cultures, an excess number of males, and not a culture of violence, predicted aggression against women, not just rape but spousal abuse.
This would suggest several things:
A. Cultures would be wise to keep the male female ratio close.
B. When taking in visitors to your country you wouldn’t want to take in too many young unwed FIGHTING age males.
How has Europe responded?
Do you think that can lead to a problem?
The details are horrific: a young Swedish woman was kidnapped and chained to a pipe in the basement of a hookah lounge. Her captors, seven Syrian migrants, repeatedly gang raped her. It was only a routine inspection that uncovered the gruesome discovery in the basement.
Have you heard about any of these stories before president #notmypresident alluded to Sweden and Europe’s problems? And how has the media responded to this? Bewilderment and mocking at Presidents Trump’s words concerning Europe when in there own words they have described the same things (while massively downplaying the political implications of the open border policies)
If you wanted to read the details of the Hookah rape story google “Rape Sweden Hookah” and it will take you to a Breitbart article, a website falsely vilified by the left as “white supremacist.” If you google “Rape Sweden Chained” the first link is to an article by the Daily Stormer which IS a white supremacist outlet, with particular belligerent words against blacks and Jews.
Whatever your feelings of those outlets what does it tell you that horrific crimes in quantity and in detail are covered up by the main stream media?
Contrast that with isolated US campus sexual assault cases where drunk coeds are involved is treated as an epidemic occurring to 20-25% of women. If those dubious numbers were correct that puts US campuses on par with war zones where rape IS used as a weapon of conquest, with women being a spoil of war. Are US campuses really on footing with the war torn hell holes these refugees are coming from?
Which leads us back to squaring this troublesome circle from Wade to Sweden. Refugee policy should be like sinking ships, women and children first. Compassion does involve taking in refugees but it also involves protecting your own citizens first.
Because the facts and the science are increasingly clear, when you take young unskilled men, especially from cultures that have the treating of women like Shit stamped epigeneticaly into their DNA, you might not be getting assimilation but invasion.
And eventually Conquest.

GOAT: Greatest Of All Timelines

With a spectacular Super Bowl comeback leading to his 5th Ring, Tom Brady has been declared the GOAT: The greatest of all time.

A friend of mine took a shot at me  for previous statements about me saying that Dan Marino was the greatest of all time. (Bias alert: I am a NY Jets fan so technically Marino and Brady have been responsible for a lifetime of heartbreak).

Now the reason we argue who is the best ever is because we all have different criteria for how we judge “the greatest.” For me it is simple, the greatest of all time is the one with the most pure talent. The arm strength and accuracy. The touch. The field general mentality. And perhaps the most important the Mindset. (I would argue all great QBs have a fantastic mindset.)

Another way of saying it is this:

If you were starting a team from scratch who is the QB (you could do this with any other position) who you would pick? THAT is your GOAT.

What are your criteria? Is it stats? Peyton Manning. Rings? Tom Brady. (or Joe Montana or Terry Bradshaw if the Dirty Birds don’t blow it yesterday). Talent? That’s where things get dicey for me because I could see someone making a case for someone like current Colts QB Andrew Luck: immense arm talent, mindset, mobility and he elevates a team with weaknesses most of the time.

While I am no longer resolute in my saying Marino was the best ever I look at Marino putting up the yards he did in the era he did habitually without a running game and a defense and it was awe inspiring. He didnt have Montana’s Bill Walsh designed West Coast Offense, Bradshaws defense, Tom Brady’s “system” that has produced a 14-6 (70% winning) record without him) or Mannings consistent offensive weapons throughout his career.

The number one criticism you hear about Marino is that he never got “The Ring”. This is a nonsensical argument. For starters Football is the Ultimate Team sport where while it’s possible for great players to elevate their team mates no one can carry a team devoid of a supporting cast. Furthermore QBs can earn “The Ring” while being a game manager and not an integral part of the offense. I can think of three QBs off the top of my head with “The Ring” who were side acts to their stellar defense (Jeff Hostetler, Trent Dilfer, Brad Johnson.)

Are any of them better than Marino?

Marino was a contemporary of Montana and Elway, both of whom had rings, Elway later in his career when he was no longer the driver of the offense. Marino had 10K yards more than Elway and 20K more than Montana. Those three defined the 80s and yet Marino lapped them stat wise but is downgraded simply because he never got “The ring.”

Would Marino have gotten Rings if he switched places with Montana? I think Marino to Rice would have produced a few rings as well and maybe even more prolific stats for both of them.

My point being is this: It is truly impossible to determine the Greatest of all time based on stats or championships when there are so many variables involved: such as teams (coaches and systems) they play for, supporting cast, and the era in which they played.

I decided to take a look at the stats of the top 12 passers in NFL history and the active QBs in the top 25. Their stats tell stories that the data may not tell: Look at the What ifs:

#1 Peyton Manning – Peyton almost came out of Tennessee as a Junior but papa Archie asked the team with the #1 draft pick, Bill Parcells and the NY Jets, if they would definitely draft him. The Tuna, brownie points for honesty, said he couldn’t guarantee that as the Jets were in rebuilding mode sequence #953 and Manning would have fetched a lot in a trade. Peyton returned for his senior season, the Jets traded the 1st round pick to the Rams who selected Orlando Pace a perennial all pro tackle while the Jets dropped to #8 where they selected James Farrier a linebacker who proceeded to be a perennial all pro when he defected in free agency to the Pittsburgh Steelers.

Meanwhile Manning goes #1 the next year to the Colts who built up exemplary talent on offense. Marvin Harrison was there when he was drafted and they proceeded to add Edgerin James, Reggie Wayne, and Dallas Clark in the next few years. All 1st rounders all pro bowlers. All that talent and still only one Super Bowl victory with the Colts.

He goes to Denver with Demarius Thomas and Eric Decker and a few more pieces that rack up great numbers in the first year before he starts to collapse.

His final game, a Super Bowl win with the Broncos, he was little more than a side show to Denvers fantastic defense.

What if Peyton Manning is drafted by the Jets in 1997 what happens to his career. Is he number one statistical QB on this list?

#2 Brett Favre. Interesting Story. The Jets Ron Wolf tried frantically to trade up with the Cardinals to take Favre instead of the Atlanta in the early parts of round 2 in the 1991 Draft. Sensing desperation the Cardinals played hardball asking for the Jets #3 round pick, a deal the Jets would not swallow.

The Cardinals drafted DE Mike Jones, Atlanta drafted Favre (Who Ron Wolfe a year later with Green Bay traded for with a first round pick), and the Jets took the Rocket Armed Louisville Slinger Browning Nagle who proceed to suck up the universe.

The 3rd Round pick who the Jets would have missed out on had they traded up for Favre? Georgia linebacker Mo Lewis, a player who despite having an excellent and long career he is best remembered for Hitting Patriots Drew Bledsoe so hard he tore an artery in the QBs shoulder allowing some punk kid from Michigan to take his starting position which circled back around in history to Fuck Atlanta last Sunday.

What if?

In other words if the Jets made that trade for Favre that creates a potential 25 year swing in the Time space continum where Favre leads the Jets and Tom Brady has a three year career as a back up QB in New England no one ever quite realizing what they have on their hands.

How’s that for a what if?

#3 Drew Brees- I’ll keep this short. Was drafted in the second round of the 2001 draft out of Perdue and was so unimpressive in his first three years that the Chargers selected Philip Rivers in 2004 (Trade and pick with the #1 Eli Manning but you get the jist.) Brees, supposed to keep Rivers on the bench for a year, lights up the league in 2004.

Think about the Timing. What If:

Drew Brees has a big year in 2003 instead of 2004. Do the Chargers draft Rivers (#12 on the list and almost certain to move into top #7 or #8 next year) creating the environment for Brees to move to the more prolific for his abilities New Orleans offense which vaults him to #3 and does Rivers land in San Diego or in some shit hole where he is misused for most of his career?

4. Tom Brady – Currently considered the Greatest of All time. But it was some fortuitous bounces. What If:

Besides the above mention Mo Lewis Near decapitation of Patriots 1993 #1 Overall Draft pick Franchise QB Drew Bledsoe what if Brady sat on the bench a few more years before moving on as a free agent to some team that doesn’t have the Dark Hoodie. Where is he in history?

He was drafted 199 on 2000. What happens if he is drafted at 198 by the Rams who took SS Mat Bowen or Tennessee who took DT Robaire Smith at 197 etc etc. all the way to say the third round and again no Hoodie OR what happens if Brady slips another round and doesn’t get drafted at all. Is it really possible that the Greatest of All Time almost slipped through the cracks completely?

Or is it more likely that Brady was latent talent who went to a system which not only maximized his abilities AND has had success without him at the Helm?

5 – Dan Marino – Dan Marino retired when Bill Clinton was president where everyone else in the top 5 retired when Obama was president or are still active. Think about that. This era is the era of QBs. When Marino played you could mug wide receivers on the field.

The Guff between #5 Marino 61,361 and #6 Elway 51,475 is almost 10k passing yards. If 60k yards are the benchmark of the elite only one person drafted in the 80s or prior who reached it.

What would Marino do today in the Saints Offense which Brees has racked up such prolific numbers?

Marino put up elite numbers when No one put up those numbers (Except, perhaps, #7 Warren Moon who stared in a prolific 4 Wide Receiver “Run-n-shoot” offense.) Does Tom Brady rack up those Numbers on the 80s Miami Dolphins? Does Brady get the ring?

Now Marino, despite always lacking an elite running back and defense, didn’t go to a shitty team. He slipped to the AFC conference champions at 27 in the draft because of cocaine rumors.

Put another way in his second year he threw for 5,000 yards and lead Miami to another Super Bowl. Marino’s talent elevated his team to a point where they were CONSTANTLY contending. It’s hard to build from the draft when you are always drafting in the 20s, and lest we forget, this was mostly pre free agent days as we see it today.

But, you know, he doesn’t have the ring.

6. John Elway – Was always more of a rocket armed Field General and leader than a prolific passer, longevity lead him to eclipsing the 50K yard mark.

But again what if he didn’t demand to be traded by the Colts in the 83 draft. Where does his place in history reside?

7. Warren Moon – Undrafted out of University of Washington he also threw for 21k yards in the CFL for the first 5 years of his career before jumping to the NFL, racking up another 49K yards. Combining the totals from both leagues he approaches Manning and Favre territory.

But no rings so fuck him. And as a black man he did this in an era where despite going to pro bowls every year the media is openly questioning whether there will ever be a successful black QB 🙄

Can anyone seriously consider a reason why Moon is not in consideration for one of the greatest of all time? Again what does he do in Brady’s spread offense?

8. Eli Manning – Will surpass Elway next year and slide into #6 All Time. Beat Brady in Super Bowl twice and has as many rings as his brother.

Even mentioning him in the same breathe as those three will draw laughter.

Why?

Again Archie didn’t want him to go to San Diego which lead to a pick and trade with the Giants and then SD picked Rivers who had Brees yards (yada yada) another of History’s what if scenarios.

9. Fran Tarkington – if he won some of those super bowls against Superior teams he would be mentioned in the Same breathe as at least Montana. 47K passing and thousands more rushing.

10. Ben Roethlisberger Didnt realize he was here, did ya? Has a Chance to Jump to #7 ahead of Moon next year.

11. Vinny Testaverde – Literally Sucked in Tampa revitalized his career with Cleveland and the Jets. Imagine if he was just dumped after Tampa.

12. Rivers will Jump in front of Tarkington next year.

In the top 25 there are only 3 more active QBs

14. Carson Palmer 44,265 May be retiring.

21. Matt Ryan 37,701 Next year will Jump up to about 41,000 yards putting him #16 on the list behind Air Coryell luminary Dan Fouts. He has only be playing since 2008. Think about his potential numbers.

23. Aaron Rodgers 36,827 (Where is he on the list if he doesn’t sit behind Favre, Steve Young behind Montana style) all those years. What if the 49ers don’t select Alex Smith with the #1 in 2005?

Looking back over that list, I ask again, who do you pick to start a team from scratch?

That’s the greatest of all time. The GOAT 🐐

Is it the Kid with the best stats out of Tennessee? The Kid out of Michigan with the most rings? The undrafted black kid from Washington who lit up two leagues when Blacks “couldn’t play QB” or the Curly haired kid from Pennsylvania who never quite made it to the promised land but almost singlehandedly destroyed record books?

To many what ifs and can’t tells to be sure.

It is often said that football is a game of inches but it’s more than that, it’s a game of timing: the right people being in the right place at the right time…
